Riso Experiments

Experiments generating compositions using a data set to dictate the layers of ink and image, printed on Risograph. Data from the Globe Observer citizen science app was used; each piece of data corresponding to specific colors, patterns, and images. Each users’ data entry would result in a layered composition based on information that had been recorded about the climate and atmosphere at a particular date, times, and location.
